The most frequently asked question
Question How come the bottle of gin is always the same temperature as the rest of the fridge?

Answer The fridge broke down a couple of months ago, so, in fact, the gin is the same temperature as the rest of the fridge, the kitchen table, and everything else besides.
The bottle of gin is hidden behind the nest of a rather cuddly furry thing that has chewed the seal off the bottom left hand corner of the fridge door and can come and go as it pleases.
The furry thing doesn't seem to do much harm apart from leave little footprints in the more soft and squishy things that are sometimes, (rather optomistically), put in the fridge for safe keeping. Also, it (the furry thing, that is) is a source of rather interesting black dots that are a bit crunchy to eat, and are found ramdomly scattered over the food stored in the fridge. Dick considers these crunchy black dots to be a special source of protein, but I'm not sure....
