The lights in Dick's Diner aren't always switched on, but we try to leave a small lamp pointing at the frying pan so you can see it at night, and to keep the cockroaches from nesting there.

Dick's favourite joke:
A small frog called Michael Jagger Junior went to see Patrick Wack, his bank manager, to borrow some money. Michael only had a small china ornament, a sort of teddy bear with a windmill, as colateral. Mr Wack was not sure quite what it was and whether it would be good enough security for the bank and so had to go and ask his superior. Having explained the situation to his superior he was instructed, "Its a nik-nak, Paddy Wack, give the frog a load, his old man's a Rolling Stone."
